INTERNET MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA
How can I promote my site to a wider audience?
Internet marketing and social media
The craft of making your site visible on the internet
Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising
Pay Per Click is an advertising and search engine marketing technique that uses a different approach to SEO. To promote your website or product, you select keywords you believe your target audience would type in the search bar when they are looking for your product or service, (very similarly to the SEO technique described above).
When a user types a keyword query matching or partly matching a keyword in your list, a link to your website or product can appear on the search results page. These are called “sponsored links” or “sponsored ads” and appear next to, and sometimes above, the natural or organic results on the page. You decide how much you are prepared to pay per click, and this determines where your ad will appear in these sponsored links.
You only pay when a user clicks on your link. This is a useful technique to quickly appear on the first page of results for your search terms or keywords. Often it may be used for several months to get instant results whilst the benefits of SEO techniques kick in, and the daily or monthly spend can be fixed to ensure that expenses do not exceed budget. We are always available to advise with or manage the setting up of an effective PPC campaign, either on its own or tied in with website design and SEO.
How can my site get found?
A well designed and informative web site is of little use if no-one knows it is there. Quest Graphics can offer several options to improve how your web site is found, combining website optimisation techniques, search engine marketing and statistical reports, potentially unlocking a significant increase in targeted traffic arriving at your web site. This means your that prospective customers can find you more easily when they use search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing, with appropriately chosen search terms.
Traditional marketing
We can help with traditional media marketing methods, such as printing leaflets or postcards for distribution, exhibition stands or signwriting for offices or vehicles. The more places your web site is advertised, the more visitors you receive, and the more chance you have of generating leads or sales from your website. For really rapid or specialist results, you may want to consider pay-per-click advertising.
Social networks
We can help you with marketing on a variety of fronts. We can build pages for social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn helping you to use these as marketing tools to reach potential new customers, and looking at how you can use content from Twitter and Facebook on your own website too.
